What tile spacing should I use for my wall or floor tiles?
The size of spacing for your tiles depends on a number of factors including the shape of the room, the size, material or pattern of the tiles and is crucial in giving the room a symmetrical and consistent finish.
With ceramic wall tiles, using 2-3mm tile spacers is common practice whereas 5mm spacers are chosen for floor tiles although with porcelain it is more often 3mm.
And, if you’re looking for a the ultimate showroom effect, we can for tiles with rectified edges, use 1mm small spacer joints which are on display in the Stone & Earth showroom.
